I've officially signed up to become his Prayer Warrior through Reece's Rainbow.
There are so many precious faces over there, so many kids who are in desperate need of finding families. Kolya has completely stolen my heart, though. Just as I saw Danil, then Sam, then Elizabeth, I now find myself tied to this boy in a way that I realize I cannot rest until Kolya comes home to a family.
So, I've decided to start a campaign.
I'm not quite sure how I'm going to do it. At this point in time, I have no idea what it entails.
All I know is that Kolya will have his family by the end of this year. I'm motivated. I'm not going to shut my mouth until he is home.
I hope you join me in spreading the word about this sweet child. I hope you look at his impish face and see just how special he is. My three-year-old son was looking at Kolya's photo the other day; he said, "He looks mad; no, he looks fun!" I see the same thing when I stare at him. I see a boy with a heart of gold, trying to make a silly mad face but with a joy hidden behind it that he is just begging to share with a family.
I don't want that joy hidden away in an orphanage or institution. I want it brought home, where he can delight in finding special people he can forever call "Mom" and "Dad".
This rainbow deserves to shine bright!
